Snow Plowing
When visibility is bad, snowplows do not go out until the snow has stopped. School bus routes are plowed first. The Township is having some problems with people plowing snow into the road. Minnesota Statute 160.2715 states “Except for the actions of the road authorities, their agents, employees, contractors, and utilities in carrying out their duties imposed by law or contract,…it shall be unlawful to obstruct any highway or deposit snow or ice thereon.” PLEASE don’t plow or shovel snow onto any highway, street or roadway.
